Thompson has a cool, wry way with words that spotlights your story with a focused identity and a distinct point-of-view whether in Commercial, Promo, Trailer or Narration. You’ve heard Thompson’s voice on promos for many of the major broadcast networks and cable channels and in countless radio and TV commercials for some of America’s – and the world’s – major brands. He works from a broadcast quality home studio with ISDN, ipDTL, Source-Connect, and phone patch connectivity options.

Thompson has been the signature voice of several Gold winning campaigns at the PromaxBDA Promotion, Marketing & Design Awards, including in 2016 for the Emmy Award nominated show “Documentary Now” on IFC.

A native of Boston, Thompson received his acting training from the highly regarded theater department at Northwestern University and worked in Chicago as a radio personality for many years before making Los Angeles his home. He’s also an accomplished organist and plays for several churches in the area. “I feel complete,” is what he said to his mother when he began studying organ as a teenager and his feet could finally reach the pedals. “Now I can play with both hands AND both feet!” He will happily “pull out all the stops” on your next project.

In 2005, Thompson completed the Chicago Marathon in 5 hours, 15 minutes and 31 seconds. He has a medal to prove it – and no plans to do it again. Ever.
